Sole Mandate:
This 119 ha farm is situated near the Langeberg about 24km from Van Wyksdorp en route to Herbertsdale.
Access to the farm is via a servitude road through two other farms, with locked gates in between.
Water is from a perennial well with surface water, delivering about 10,000 liters per day. The water is brackish and is pumped to a Reverse Osmosis system, delivering approximately 500 litres of fresh water. Water is stored in a 5000-litre water tank. Two additional 5,000-litre tanks are available for storage or harvesting rainwater from the shed roof.
A new road is constructed to provide access to the top of the mountain and the back end of the farm. Existing roads provide access to most of the farm.
The farm is fenced on three sides, with the eastern side fenced with new 1.6 m fencing with jackal proof. About 800m is without a fence.
There is a Wendy hut, and a toilet/shower unit for workers.
A container provides storage space for tools.
A new shed was built to house farming equipment. Equipment is for sale separately.
